Supporting Manufacturing Through Regional Partnerships and Collaboration

Invest Mississauga participated in Canadian Manufacturer and Exporters’ (CME) Regional Industry Council meeting at Bombardier‘s Aircraft Assembly Facility in Mississauga that brought together manufacturers, educators, and workforce development advocates.

Partnerships between manufacturers and educators have never been more vital. CME’s latest Manufacturing Workforce Report highlights key themes and outlines a path for long-term collaboration between schools, regional stakeholders, governments, and manufacturers.

The Regional Industry Council is a consultative group facilitated by CME, that meets regularly to improve the alignment of workforce development with the needs of local manufacturing employers. If you are interested in participating in future sessions, contact Pratik Bhalerao  pratik.bhalerao@cme-mec.ca.
