| This month, Mayor Carolyn Parrish joined Invest Mississauga at a reception celebrating 50 years of Japan’s contributions to Mississauga’s success with special guest Mr. Takeshi Inagaki, Mayor of Kariya, Japan – Mississauga’s sister city. The event was attended by more than 70 guests that included many of our Mississauga based Japanese businesses. Today, Mississauga has nearly 100 Japanese companies, more than any other city in Canada, across a variety of key sectors and is a significant contributor of foreign direct investment in Mississauga.
