Virtual Training Hub and New Online Job Bank for Construction Sector
MERIT ONTARIO
The Government of Ontario is investing over $3 million to create a virtual training hub that will help construction supervisors learn the skills they need to mentor and train their team. This funding will also go toward the creation of a job bank that will help up to 200 laid-off and unemployed workers find jobs in construction. This project runs until June 30, 2022. Canada-Ontario Job Grant
GOVERNMENT OF ONTARIO
The Canada-Ontario Job Grant provides direct financial support to individual employers or employer consortia who wish to purchase training for their employees. It is available to small, medium and large businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees. The training has to be delivered by an eligible, third-party trainer.
